There are many magazine publications out there that deal with the Civil War. Here we have listed some that are not only great for our millitary folks, but also center in on the civilian side of life.

"The Civil War Historian" at www.civilwarhistorian.com. This is a bi-monthy publication at $28.95 for one year. "The Citizens' Companion" at http://citizenscompanion.com. This is a bi-monthy publication for $26 for one year and $48 for two. Great civilian information from kids clothes to what was cookin' over the fire. Historical articles from the time are reprinted for your enjoyment and a special section is dedicated to civilian men.

 

"Camp Chase Gazette" at www.campchase.com. A bi-monthy publication for $30. A great magazine to keep you updated on all the major events from National events to local anniversary events. Also concentrates on the millitary side of the war.

 

" The Civil War Times: at www.historynet.com/magazines/civil_war_times. Another great bi-monthy magazine stuffed full of great millitary information, including excertps from diaries, war stratagies, and much more. Great lists of sutlers and many other merchants. Subscriptions run for $24.94 for one year.
