Sauk City was quite honestly the event that almost didn't happen. Mother Nature unleashed her furry the week of June 9th in the form of heavy rains that flooded most of the state and closed half the roads leading to Sauk City, emptied Lake Delton and took 4 homes with it, and even closed down 20-40 miles of I94 East into Madison for almost a week after due to flooding. The Wisconsin River raged just a few feet away from the event, but a group of hardy re-enactors from our own group and members of the US Navy Landing Party of the USS Carondelet made it to join many other groups in a fun filled and mostly dry weekend! So in honor of the floods of June 2008- the wettest June in Wisconsin history, we invite you to enjoy these great pictures for those who persavered and made it to the great city of Sauk City!!

Special Thanks to Jon Halstead and Jeannine Keinert for supplying all of the great pictures from this event!!
